Me and Håvard arrived two days ago to the little town St. Moritz in the Swiss Alps to make the final preparations before the European Championships in a couple of weeks. Training so far has gone well, but slightly slower than home. We're at 1775 meters above sea level here compared to about 30 in Eskilstuna were I live. It's an impressive landscape up here with a lot of snowy mountain tops surrounding the town. Unfortunately it's often cloudy and raining a lot so the mountain tops don't show too often. But what's worse is I can't work on my tan when it's raining! Guess I brought my tanning oil in vain :(
Besides the weather, everything is great so far, but we had a little hiccup making dinner today. Håvard was going to do an omelette when he realized the eggs we bought the other day were already boiled! How do you make an omelette with boiled eggs? You don't. Who the hell sells boiled eggs anyway? No one, except for COOP in St. Moritz. So instead of an omelette we had rice with an boiled egg stew for dinner. And it was delicious.
