So it's been a week since we got home from the World Cup in China and it has been raining almost every day. Lucky for me I live next door to an indoor 200 m track so I can train there when I'm sick of getting cold showers outdoors. And so I did two days ago.
In the same building as the track they had a basketball tournament for kids this weekend, and about halfway in to my training a bunch of girls aging from about 10 to 12, plus their moms, stopped to cheer me on every time I passed by. So every 55 seconds they were applauding me. Naturally, I felt like a star, and had to raise my pace to impress them even more. And so we continued for almost 30 minutes, witch led to me having the first good training session since I got back to Sweden.
Always funny when something unexpected happens in training, and hopefully next time there will be girls in their mid twenties to cheer me on.
By the way, we've agreed to do most of the updates in english so our foreign friends doesn't have to go via google translate to understand :)
